My fairy tale

Once upon of time, there was a poor kid named Jeff who was very kind and helpful to everyone. He always overcame all obstacles and always tried hard.

The story began when Jeff was nice to everyone so everyone loved him. One day, a witch was jealous and the curse began to follow him every day. The curse made him have a long nose that every night lighted up like fire. So everyone was now scared of him and called him was Fire Nose Boy. He was so lonely and sad after the witch cursed him.

One day, Jeff went to the forest for found food. “Oh no! The sky begin to dark now, I need to go home now, if not, I will burn this forest” he said. When he began to go home, his nose started to brighter and brighter and then his nose turned to fire. He started to run faster, when he saw an old woman. “What happened to you and why you so sad?” Jeff asked the old lady. “I can’t find the way back to my home” the old woman said. The boy accepted to guide the old woman back to her home. When the old woman arrived back to her home, she gave him a magical tray that when you put something in it, it multiplied by 3. For example, if you put $1 in it, it became $3. If you put on the tray $1,000,000 it became $3,000,000 (but you can put anything in it not just the money). After Jeff got the tray, he became rich but he was still kind to everyone around him.

After a few weeks, a rich man heard the story about the tray and he started to be jealous and he wanted that tray. One day, the rich man tried to become the boy and came to the forest where Jeff found the tray. When the rich man came to the forest, he wasn’t see an old woman but he saw an old man. The old man said: “Can you help me find the way back to my home?” “Stay away from me stupid old man” The rich man said. Finally, he found the old woman and he ran over to her and asked: “Do you need me to guide you to your home?” When the old woman got back home, she gave him a tray but she didn’t say anything about it. The rich man so excited and brought the tray back home but he didn’t suspect about it. When he came back home, he put everything on the tray and he thought that would multiple by three. But suddenly, it all disappeared. After that, he put all the money and property he had left and then it all gone too. He started to angry and he thought about stealing Jeff tray. But the old woman predicted what were happen to the rich man so she came to Jeff house and tried to protect him from the rich man. The old woman was right. The rich man came to Jeff house and tried to steal the tray. When the rich man came to Jeff house, Jeff neighbor caught him right away and sent him to the old woman. The rich man apologized to Jeff and the old woman because he was selfish and just thought about himself.

After that, Jeff lived happily ever after with the normal nose while the magical old woman broke the curse from the witch. Now, everyone in the world knows him as the most kindness boy in the world.

The Legend of the Origin of the Vietnamese people (A fairy tale)

Legend has it that Lac Long Quan was born to King Kinh Duong Vuong and Long Nu, a dragon incarnate; and Lady Au Co was a daughter of King De Lai and a Fairy in a northern country. Lac Long Quan was king of the immense region, which is now the whole area of South China and the northern part of Vietnam.

Lac Long Quan married Lady Au Co, and she gave birth to a huge sac containing one hundred eggs. On the day the eggs hatched, one hundred healthy boys walked out of their shells. The hundred boys grew up quickly. When they were ten years old, they already looked like young men.

One day, Lac Long Quan told his wife, “I came from the line of the Dragon, and you are from the line of the Fairy. We cannot live together forever. Therefore, you will take our fifty sons and go up to the highland and mountains and teach them a trade so they can feed themselves and take care of their families. I will take the other fifty sons to the sea and its adjacent low lands and teach them how to work to sustain themselves so they can raise their own families.”

No sooner said than King Lac Long Quan and his wife parted. Each spouse took fifty sons to their new lands. In the mountainous areas, the young men made their living by hunting and gathering at the beginning, then they practiced nomadic farming, and finally they settled down permanently whether in natural, limestone caves, called dong or in many mountainous villages called soc or buon. The fifty sons later became the leaders of the ethnic, minority tribes in the highlands.

Among the other fifty young men, who went to the sea with their father, some settled in the lowlands and later became peasants, artisans, or merchants. Others went to live and work on the rivers or at sea. They became fishermen, who lived whether on their boats most of their lives or built their permanent houses by the riverside or on the sea shore. A group of twenty houses was called xom chai (a fishing sub hamlet,) and a much larger group was called lang chai (a fishing village).

Later, Long Quan made his eldest son King of Van Lang. Through the ups and downs of history during the course of over thirty centuries, the Viet people and their kings moved steadily south to their present geographical location.

The number one hundred used to count the eggs has caused many heated debates among the Vietnamese. Some believed that the number one hundred accounted for the Bach Viet of the time. Others believed that it matched the number of one hundred powerful clans who lived there at the time.

However, everyone is unanimously agreed that the Vietnamese peoples are the descendants of the Dragon and the Fairy in the legend. In fact, in Vietnamese literature whether oral or written, the phrase “con Rong chau Tien” (descendants of the Dragon and the Fairy) was used over and over for centuries. Moreover, the picture of the dragon has long been used in national emblems, logos, and many other designs to represent Vietnam and its peoples.

The element that tell this is a fairy tale is Au Co can born 100 eggs in the same times.

How family importance?

Do you want to know how our family importance to us? Do you ever went to the orphanage? One time I have go to the orphanage and these orphans are very unlucky because they don't have any family. I think without family, no one really take care for us like our family and poor just like orphans. The family will be next to us when we need them, and always helps us. That is reason why I'm very love my family.
